I always thought of Naruto and Bleach as rivals... like how I used to think Pokemon and Digimon were rivals. And so.. just like back in the day of pkmn.. I ignored the "rival anime" as much as I could to be faithful... but .. just like back then.. I saw one glimpse of it.. and fell into addiction yet again. Bleh. I still like naruto.. just.. not as much now.. x<

I don't see how they are rivals at all, they are made by different creators and have a totally different story. one revolves around shinigami and the other ninja. O.o
